Ingredients ----------- - 1 1/2 cups fresh basil - 3 or 4 garlic cloves - 1/2 cup lightly toasted pine nuts - 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese - 3/4 cup olive oil In a food chopper/blender*, blend basil, garlic cloves, and pine nuts into a thick puree. Then blend in Parmesan cheese. Add and blend olive oil until the pesto has the consistency of creamed butter.
